Rockbus was founded in 2009 with a mission to provide convenient, affordable and environmentally friendly transportation for music fans. Our core principles include:

On-demand transportation

Rockbus coaches run where and when the rider demand is greatest. Our passengers determine where our buses run by choosing the routes that work best for their location—and getting friends and other fans to join them.

Environmental consciousness

Because we only confirm and run trips with enough riders—as opposed to running partly full buses on fixed routes and schedules—we aren’t pumping any unnecessary emissions into the air. Further, for every Rockbus ticket sold, a carbon offset credit equivalent is purchased from Native Energy.

Ease-of-use

By locating our rally points at major highway interchanges and transportation hubs, we are making it as easy as possible for fans to park and ride. Rockbus encourages our riders to make it a completely car-free trip by taking public transportation to the rally point when possible.

Rider experience

We’re music fans too, and want to give Rockbus riders the kind of experience we would like to have. We seek to create an environment of mutual respect between fans, so every rider has a Rockbus ride that’s safe and enjoyable from start to finish.
